The International Photobooth Convention - In Pictures

We had such a great week at The International Photobooth Convention and would like to thank all the artists and participants that were involved. Across five days we explored the creative potential of our photobooths and the results are magnificent. MONDAY

Mr Mixup and Kate Tyler kicked off the week by testing out some ideas with the format of the photobooth strip.

TUESDAY

Kate and Mixup began working on ideas that would create larger pieces out of several photobooth strips combined and Caroline Dowsett ran her Botanical Booth workshop.

WEDNESDAY

We had John Powell-Jones' Abstract Narrative workshop which saw participants storyboard a four frame comic strip and Mariel Osborn transported us under the sea.  

THURSDAY 

A big day for us at the convention, Kate and Mixup were sharing their creativity and Aliyah Hussain ran her Wear Your Own Collage workshop. In the evening we opened our doors late for Freds at Night III (check out our Facebook Album for more pictures from the night).

FRIDAY 

The final day of the convention was hosted by Layla Sailor and Mr Mixup, using filters inside the photobooth to create reflections and repeated imagery. In the afternoon we host our second Dog Day Afternoon, you can vote for your favourite picture on our Instagram.

TIN TYPE TRAILER

Throught the week Tin Type Trailer popped up in the shop and took bookings for portraits produced using the Wet Collodion process.
